Each type comes with sensible categories and a dashboard that leads with the figures that matter for it.
Why this tracker
Simple enough for a monthly budget, complete enough for an event with sponsors, vendors and a committee.
Set an overall budget, a budget per category, or both. See what is left and what has gone over.
A pledge is not cash. Expected and pledged money is tracked separately until it actually arrives.
Every sponsor, donor, client and vendor gets a ledger: promised, paid and still outstanding.
Summary, income, expense, budget and people reports. Export CSV, print or save as PDF.
Publish a read-only page and choose exactly what it shows — totals only, or every entry.
Invite managers, contributors and viewers. Optionally approve entries before they count.
Rent, salary, subscriptions. You confirm each one when it is due — nothing is added silently.
Start instantly on this device. Sign in later to keep trackers on every device.
How it works
Pick a type — month, event, trip, fundraiser, business — and it starts with matching categories.
Add income and expenses in a few taps. Mark what is pledged, committed or actually paid.
Balance, budget left, pending money and clear charts — then share or export when you need to.
Use it for
Income, expenses, savings rate and where the money went — with a month-to-month comparison.
A budget, sponsors and donors, vendors, and what is still to be collected or paid.
A trip budget, spending by category and how fast the money is going.
A target, pledges versus money actually received, and a public page for transparency.
Revenue, costs, profit, receivables and payables.
Shared access with roles, expense approvals and a full activity history.
Questions
How statuses, budgets, storage and sharing work.
It is a place to record money coming in and going out, so you always know what was received, what was spent, what is still pending and what is left. Here each “tracker” is its own workspace — one for a month, another for an event, a trip, a fundraiser or a business.
Anything with money in and money out: monthly or household finances, a wedding or event with sponsors and vendors, a trip budget, a fundraiser with pledges, a project, a club, or a small business. Pick a type when you create a tracker and it starts with matching categories and a matching dashboard.
Every income entry has a status. Only money marked received counts towards your balance. Pledged, expected and partially received amounts are shown separately as pending, so a promise is never mistaken for cash. Expenses work the same way with planned, committed and paid.
Yes. Set an overall budget, a budget per category, or both. The Budget view shows budget, actual and remaining for each line and flags anything that has gone over.
As a guest, your trackers are saved only in this browser. When you are signed in you can save trackers to your Clikit account, which makes them available on any device. A tracker on your device is copied to your account only when you ask, and the device copy is kept.
They are all still here. Transactions you recorded before are collected in a tracker called “My Finances” — in your account if you saved them there, or on this device if you used local storage. Nothing was deleted.
Yes, for trackers saved to an account. You can create a public read-only link and choose exactly what it shows — totals only, charts, or individual transactions with or without names and amounts. You can also invite specific people as manager, contributor or viewer.
Managers and contributors can. You can require approval, so a contributor’s entry only counts after you or a manager approve it. Viewers and visitors of a public link can optionally suggest an expense, which you approve or reject.
No. A transfer — cash to bank, bank to wallet — is recorded as a transfer and is left out of income, expenses and net, so moving your own money never distorts your totals.
You describe the schedule — rent every month, a subscription every year. When an occurrence is due the tracker asks you to confirm it. Entries are never created silently.
Yes. Download transactions as CSV, print any report or save it as a PDF from the print dialog, or copy a text summary. Reports follow the date range and filters you have selected.
No. It is a budgeting and record-keeping tool. The insights it shows are simple calculations from your own entries, not advice.
